2016 Spring Top Qingxin Oolong Tsui Feng

Cultivar: Qingxin (ruanzhi) Oolong
Harvested by hand: May 8th, 2016
Origin: Tsui Feng,翠峰 (1900-2000 m)
Process: light oxidation, rolled, dried .
The leaves are very big and green. They produce a brew with a very bright yellow color. Shiny and transparent.
Lavender and flowery with notes of butter. Very fresh and bright.
Delicate and sweet at first. No bitterness or defects. The aftertaste is slow to unfold, but it is thick, long and very elegant.
Conclusion: the Tsui Feng mountain is often mistaken for Lishan, because it is located nearby and because its taste has a very similar elegance. With an elevation approaching 2000 meters, this is one of Taiwan's finest High mountain Oolongs.
