Process: Light to medium oxidized Baozhong, very light roasting

The dry leaves are dark green and big. The open leaves show oxidation on their edge. This slightly higher than usual oxidation level indicates a more traditional processing for this Wenshan Baozhong. The oxidation intensifies the aromas. The brew has a deep yellow hue with a very good transparency.

The scents are rather complex. They are similar to the subtropical forest surrounding the Wenshan plantations. There are also warm osmanthus fragrances.

The taste is smooth and sweet. The qingxin cutivar gives it depth and grace.

It's THE classic Wenshan Baozhong!


I taste it at this precise moment and its perfume, its yellow limpidity leaves a few deep clusters of tropical humus.
