Yixing Zisha Ju Lun Zhu teapot
Volume: 150 ml (15 cl)
Weight: 132.6 gr
This Yixing zisha clay is rough on the inside. The sound is rather low: the firing wasn't made at the highest temperature.
This shape is called Ju Lun Zhu and refers to the flat and wide knob on top of the lid. It's a Japanese design that was very appreciated for Yixing teapots exported to Japan in the early 20th Century.
Made by hand during the 1990s, it uses an early ROC style. It is in new condition.
The tea flows nicely from the spout. There are tea deposits inside and outside the teapot.
It has a single hole.
The round shape is very harmonious and would be a good fit for roasted rolled Oolong. It would also be a good fit for shu puerh.
The chop on the bottom of the teapot includes a dragon and 4 Chinese characters are FuJiLinJun.
