1. View

Bright and small dry green leaves. The brew's color is a bright, light and shiny yellow. It has a very good transparency.

2. The scents

The dry floral scent are light, fresh and flowery. Amazingly, there are hints of lavender, which usually only happens above 2000 meters! I

3. The taste

It is sweet and powerful. It feels buttery and refined, fresh and energetic. and leaves a pleasant and long lasting aftertaste.

Conclusion: this Alishan Oolong is top notch and could easily be mistaken for Tsui Feng or Lishan Oolong! It's the best value high mountain Oolong I've encountered in a while. This year's weather has brought frost and hail to Alishan. This has caused damage to the plantations and a very uneven quality this season. This tea is one rare gem from this spring. It's a must buy for all high mountain Oolong lovers!

Stéphane's comments about this tea are (as always) completely true. It could easily be mistaken for a higher elevation tea. The delicacy of the notes and the power of the aftertaste are top notch!
