Cultivar: Qingxin Oolong

Harvested by hand: October 5th, 2021

Origin: Da Yu Ling (2580 m), 104 K.

Process: Light oxidized and rolled Oolong

1. View

The dry leaves are dark green and of varied sizes. The brew has great clarity and transparency with a light yellow/green color. The open leaves are very green with few oxidation marks. They are thick, but flexible.

2. Scents

The dry leaves smell like fine, fresh spring flowers. The brew's fragrances are very light and flowery. It comes close to a very fresh perfume!

3. Taste

The sweetness and aftertaste of this high mountain Oolong are exceptional! This is as good as it gets in terms of high mountain Oolongs. These leaves can be pushed real hard and still deliver a very bright, light and mellow brew.

Conclusion: It's the second year I'm offering this exceptional tea in terms of quality and quantity produced. This plantation only produces 60 kg of Oolong per season (in spring and winter).
