This sampler will include many teas I will brew, study and explore during the fall season of 2022 in my free online video classes. You may watch the classes live on Facebook or in Replay on YouTube.
The following samples weigh 25 grams:
- Spring 2022 Qingxin Oolong from Alishan,
- Spring 2022 Qingxin Oolong from Shan Lin Xi,
- Spring 2021 Dong Ding competition Oolong from Shan Lin Xi,
- Spring 2009 Dong Ding style Hung Shui Oolong from Shan Lin Xi
- 2022 Spring ZhengJian Tie Guan Yin from Anxi
- Fall 2021 'Tie Gan Yin' from Alishan
The first 2 Oolongs let us experience high mountain Oolongs and how each mountain produces different aromas. The comparison of the second and third lets us understand the importance of roasting and the particular Dong Ding style. The comparison of the Spring 2021 and spring 2009 roasted Oolongs from Shan Lin Xi will shed light on the aging process of roasted Oolong and how to turn Oolong into gold!
With the spring 2022 ZhengJian Tie Guan Yin, we will discover the original aftertaste of one of the most famous Oolongs. And we will compare it with a 'Tie Guan Yin' style processed tea made from Qingxin Oolong in Alishan!
FREE BONUS; The first 15 people who purchase this pack will receive a 6 gr sample of a Roasted Oolong from Dong Ding from the 1980s!
Reminder: for these classes, it's best to own a gaiwan (easy to use like this one) on top of a Chabu! I'm mentioning this so that you can advantage of free shipping for orders above 100 USD and receive another free sample, an Alishan Jinxuan Oolong!
