This sampler includes 5 Dong Ding Oolongs from the same farmer in the Dong Ding area and 1 Qingxin Oolong from Alishan.

Each sample is 25 gr and is made with Qingxin Oolong, the cultivar best suited for Dong Ding Oolong. The sampler contains the following harvest seasons:

- Spring charcoal roasted and without roast, 

- Summer,

- Autumn,

- Winter,

On top, I'm adding this spring 2025 Qingxin Oolong from RuiFeng, Alishan. It was harvested just 2 days later than the spring Dong Ding. Both teas are made from Qingxin Oolong cultivar. And they are roughly the same price. This enables us to compare the impact of the terroir and elevation, if you compare it to the unroasted Dong Ding.

This sampler is a great learning tool to taste the impact of the season on the flavors and the process style of Dong Ding Oolong, the seasons and the difference between Dong Ding and high mountain.
