2023 Spring Wenshan Baozhong
Cultivar: Jinxuan and Tsui Yu.
Harvested: April 8th 2023.
Origin: Pinglin area, Wenshan, northern Taiwan
Process: Lightly oxidized, twisted, well dried, no stems.
The dry leaves have a fresh green color with uneven shapes. The brew has a good transparency and a light green color. The open leaves look mixed and their rims have light red oxidation marks.
The dry scents are fresh and foresty. The brew has light scents similar to subtropical forest scents.
The taste is quite simple and has a good sweetness for this price level.
Conclusion: A great everyday Baozhong for all those who like fresh and sweet Oolongs.
