Yixing modern zhuni Long Dan Teapot
The volume of the teapot is 120 ml (12 cl)
It weighs 134.8 grams. The shape of this teapot is tall and called dragon egg.
The clay is modern zhuni, a red clay with little porosity. Thanks to a high temperature firing, the cover produces a high pitched sound when it touches the body of the teapot.
The details of this teapot show good craftsmanship. The knob is also slightly elevated and easy to grab. The flow of water is nice and can be stopped by pressing on the knob. It was made approximately 10 years ago and has signs of previous use.
This teapot has one hole.
It is well suited for high mountain Oolong or sheng puerh.
It is stamped 'Ning Hou' at the bottom of the teapot.
