This teapot is made of dark, soft purple zisha clay. The sound of the cover on the teapot is neither low nor high pitched: the teapot was fired at a good temperature.

Nice craftmanship. Well balanced, it floats on water. The knob is elevated and is easy to grab. 

It has a single hole filter.

This classic shaped Yixing zisha is around 20 years old. It's a good fit for roasted Oolong, or raw puerh.

The seal under the teapot is 'China Yixing'.
