1. The view
Large dark green and light yellow dry green leaves. White buds are also visible. The brew's color is a bright, light and shiny yellow. It has a very good transparency. The open leaves contain many big leaves, typical of high mountain Oolong.
2. The scents
The dry floral scent are light, fresh and foresty. It has hints of lavender and pine. The brew is a bouquet of lily flowers with hints of peaches.
3. The taste
Sweet, it feels buttery and fresh. It leaves a pleasant and long lasting aftertaste. It feels more complex and powerful than the average Alishan Oolong.
Conclusion: this Alishan Oolong is of great quality. The farmer only harvests this plantation twice a year, in spring and winter. That's another reason why the winter version tastes so pure and just as good as the spring's!
