2018 Spring Qingxin Oolong Lishan
Cultivar: Qingxin (ruanzhi) Oolong
Harvested by hand: May 15th, 2018.
Origin: Lishan (2200 m) Process: light oxidation, rolled, dried .
The leaves are tightly rolled cut with few big leaves. The brew has a very clear yellow hue. The open leaves have a good thickness.
The scents are elegant with hints of peaches and vetiver. Very fresh and bright.
Delicate and sweet in taste with a very refined, but thick aftertaste. It feels powerful and elegant at the same time, something that's not easy to achieve.
Conclusion: the thick and refined yun (aftertaste) of this Oolong is the mark of the Lishan terroir. It comes from one of the most famous and highest tea mountain in Taiwan.
