Origin: Pinglin area, Wenshan, northern Taiwan
Process: Lightly oxidized, striped, well dried.
1. View
The dry leaves are small and dark green. The brew has a bright yellow color with a good transparency. The open leaves are rather small and have red oxidation marks.
2. The scents
The dry leaves have scents of flowers and forest. The brew smells grassy and fresh with dark flowery notes.
3. The taste
It has smooth energy. The taste is very sweet in the light manner of Wenshan Baozhong.
Conclusion: Thanks to an early harvest of young leaves and buds, we have here a very pleasant and affordable autumn Baozhong. Its fragrances are a little bit darker than during spring, but the taste is very pleasant and sweet.
